PSYCHEDELIC-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY

Psychedelic-assisted therapy has the potential to unlock the depths of the unconscious, where our deep-seated emotions, beliefs, and experiences reside.

Facilitating powerful change in a short amount of time…

Psychedelic-assisted therapy provides a way to cut through the mental static and get straight to the root of what’s blocking you.

By exploring your deepest emotions, needs, and most challenging experiences - you gain a profound awareness of yourself and your life.

This clarity can lead to inner transformation and the re-orienting of your life according to your values.

HOW DOES PSYCHEDELIC-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY WORK?

Together, we work to create a calm, trusting, peaceful environment for you to set clear intentions and feel safe to engage in the deep work that is offered with KAP.

Our therapeutic relationship supports the pharmacologic, biological experience of ketamine — our connection and relationship creates a foundation for the medicine to be effective for longer-term psychological change rather than a short-term experience.

The outcome of KAP and other psychedelic-assisted therapies is highly reliant on what is called “set and setting”.

SET

This is the mindset or inner experience of the client who undergoes psychedelic work. Mindset includes beliefs, intentions, and emotions that create our inner environment.

SETTING

This is the external environment in which the therapy occurs — the literal setting of the therapy which can be your own home, my office, or a group space. The setting also includes the relationships between the provider and client and cultural environment.

SPECIALTY & TRAINING

I am a certified Journey Clinical Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) Provider and offer this service as a complement to psychotherapy.

I facilitate KAP in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical, which has a specialized medical team that determines eligibility for KAP, prescribes the ketamine, & supports us in monitoring outcomes.

Psychedelic work is powerful and well-suited for: anxiety, treatment-resistant depression, and PTSD. It facilitates insight and change that many people feel has never been able to happen in traditional talk therapy. I would be happy to visit with you and answer your questions about KAP in a free consultation.

SESSION RATES

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is $550-675/session due to the format of a 2-3 hour session.

KAP is usually 4-6 sessions with Ketamine medicine.

Three sessions of individual therapy for new clients before Ketamine is introduced and three sessions of integration is recommended.

*I offer a sliding scale based on need depending on my availability. Please ask me if this is something you'd like to explore. I do not ask for proof of need, it is based on the honor system and knowing whether paying for therapy will detrimentally impact your life and providing for you and your family, or if paying for therapy is a sacrifice that is a beneficial investment.

“Kathryn is an amazing practitioner. She is embodied, present, REAL, and incredibly knowledgeable.

I have trusted her to guide me down into the depths and bear witness to my unravelings, uncoverings, and self-discovery,

and I would nudge anyone looking to go deeper into their own psyche and that of the collective to pursue her work and care. I highly recommend Kathryn!”
